No. Ich is a parasite that is in all water. Even in your tap water. Ich is always present in an aquarium. Ich does not or cannot harm a fish that isn't stressed or diseased. Their natural slime coat keeps the parasite from attaching itself. If the parasite cannot find a host it dies in a matter of days. However, new parasites are introduced by new water changes.
Not a silly question at all. You're safe.

There IS a skin disorder called "Icthyosis" that makes your skin look excessively scaly and inflamed, but that's NOT transferred from fish, thank goodness! Best to soak your hands in a very mild bleach solution (one teaspoon to a quart of water) for thirty seconds next time you have to touch water you may think is infectious. Better yet, wear long-wristed rubber gloves.
NO skin question is silly, sweetie!

The mermaid legend develop into presented about through sailors who claimed that better-ordinarily pleasing females might want to swim round their ships to target to entice sailors to their deaths. for that reason, the concept of a mermaid grew to develop into synonymous with great attractiveness. Walt Disney also romantisised the mermiad theory along with his production of "the little Mermaid" very a lot the same as how Vampires were romantised, mermaids have also been adapted so as that the truly horror of the creature does not get theory about anymore.

Nope, the disease only affects fish (They have a different body type from us humans, more sensitive to certain bacterias)
But you are not silly, you are in fact, intelligent for being ardent about such stuff, you can never be too safe..Good question!
