A.J. Burnett dominated the struggling Yankees and outclassed their prized prospect, rookie right hand hurler Phil Hughes on the mound on thursday (April26), sending last-place New York to its sixth straight loss by pitching the Toronto Blue Jays to a 6-0 victory Thursday night.
The N.Y. Yankees are in last place and probably going nowhere fast. Jason Giambi has been sending text messages to Roger Clemens..."WHEN ARE YOU COMING!"
Considering the poor state of affairs the Yankees are in, would it matter if Roger Clemens came back to N.Y?
And, would it be wise for the Houston Astro's, who are also struggling in the NL Central, to give up the 45 year old "Rocket", Roger Clemens?
Would it be worth it for George Steinbrenner to open his bank account considering Mike Mussina is on the DL list (hamstring) as is Carl Pavano (forearm) and go after the "Rocket"...?
Is the fat lady warming up in the NY Yankee dugout...?

I think Clemens will go back to Houston, it's the smart move. The Yankees will be ok, they are off to a slow start, they have started off slow before. It is the media, who jump the gun on the yanks. The past few years, everyone starts to dig the grave, and them blamo. AL East champs, they just always seem to find a way

No, I dont think Mitchell named Clemens and Pettitte because he worked for the Red Sox. While I dont think he's completely impartial, I don't think he cares what teams the players played for. I heard that Varitek, Trot Nixon, Mo Vaugh, and Nomar were also among those named in the report, and they are associated with the Red Sox more than with any other team.

Well if Roger does go to New York it would just prove he is a liar again. He said all along he only wants to play for a contender which rules out the Yankees and Astros.

Roger Clemens will NOT return to New York. The very best thing for the baseball fans of America would be if that self-centered prima donna, bumbling, moron would retire and leave the game all together. We could then be at peace again and not have to listen to his contradictions and his bumbling, incoherent interviews.
Chow!!

The Rocket isn't going to save the Yankees man...they are WAY over rated this season. And you know what? FOCK da Yankees!
Boston is going to stomp a mud hole in their backsides - GO SOX!
Is Steinbrenner just totally losing his marbles right now? Is he on the phone to Jesus' manager to try and buy a savior for his season? Even God can't help you know Georgie - your team blows...
