yeah how come in the NBA or any basketball games they dont play music while their playing? like i only hear music for like 5-15 secs and then it stops.. i think if they keep it on it will pump the players up.

the players need to be able to hear the whistles and there's a thing about artificial noise as a home team could manipulate it to effect their opponents

they want to try and keep the noise down so the players can talk to each other and run the plays it's all ready so loud just from the fans the music would just make it harder

they need to hear what there coaches and teamates are saying in order to win and stay on track.
