Where's a nice clean, safe black neighborhood where a white person could live safely?

My neighborhood (Lower Haight in San Francisco) has lots of black people (I live by the projects) and is quite safe for whities such as myself. Er... recent streak of violence amidst the blackies, but no cross-over to the whities. *shrug* It's not really "clean", though... lots of drugs, but it's SF, so everyone's chill. Honestly, I've lived in a few black neighborhoods and have never really felt threatened. Then again, I've just walked through others and was sure I was gonna be killed. It does depend on the neighborhood. Likewise, I've lived in white neighborhoods where I've felt VERY threatened (mostly in the south - which I antagonized with lots of make-up, feather boas, and a shirt that read "Rednecks Rape Roadkill", ie: RRR, like KKK - I'm so witty!)... and I'm sure a black person in such neighborhoods would feel threatened, too.

So yeah. Blackies hate whities and whities hate blackies. Except when they don't. Just don't go to North St. Louis. Dear God, don't go to North St. Louis!!!

gosh, it totally depends on the whitey. I've never lived in an all black neighborhood but I play one on tv- but I've worked in one and had friends who lived in one and simply found for the most part you get back what you put out.
