ok my choices are
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz Socket AM2 Processor

or

-Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor

they are about the ame price but which one would be better to overclock and would get better results??

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe is the king of the ring. With good cooling, it can be overclocked to 3.6 GHz with ease.

No, The Core 2 Duo processors are notoriously easy to overclock and yes you'd get better results with the intel core 2. There're alot of overclocking sites out there, i suggest you take a look.

E6330 or E6420 is the best in market. I boost it in to 3.45 Ghz with Nforce 680 SLI chip
