There are THREE DISTINCT CUBE ROOTS of - 7:
1.912931183... multiplied by either :
a.) - 1, or
b.) [1 + sqrt(3) i] / 2, or
c.) [1 - sqrt(3) i] / 2,
where ' i ' is the symbol for the imaginary square root of (- 1).
Note that all of the above "multipliers" a., b., and c. are themselves the three different cube roots of - 1.
Live long and prosper.

-1.912......
(as a check) -2 X -2 X - 2 = -8
(At a higher level there are two more answers but that gets a little complex)

(-7)^1/3=
Abs(7^1/3)*e^(i pi/3)=1.91293*(0.5+ 0.866025 i)
Abs(7^1/3)*e^(i 3*pi/3)=1.91293*(-1)
Abs(7^1/3)*e^(i 5*pi/3)=1.91293*(0.5 - 0.866025 i)
