yes, in my opinion it is definitely logical.
Everything done by God is logical but the question is on human minds. can we crack that logic?
Actually God is there forever. We always think in terms of time but God is there. There is no concept of past, present & future to God.

Most people believe that God exists outside logic anyway. For instance, God could make a triangle with 4 sides. The reason this is so amazingly hard to grasp is because humans live within the confines of a logical universe. A triangle with 4 sides is to us impossible because it breaks the definition of a triangle, and cannot logically exist. However God, who lives outside logic, can do it. He can also create something so heavy he can't pick it up, while still being omnipotent.
Seeing as if God exists, he exists outside logic, then no it is not logically possible for there to be a first cause without something behind it pushing it. And something behind that, and behind that...

It is beyond logic. There are no facts to be logical about so...does not apply.
