I want to take a year off to work and do some skiing. also I hated my last year at college because I took bachelor of arts and didnt like half the coarses I took, and I probobly couldnt do anything with the degree anyhow. Also i hate being tied down to school for eight months.
So my question is should I go to school again or take a year or two off before I go back(I will go back)?

You need to change your outlook about school. You say you want to take "a year off to work". You should consider school as your job. Think about it. A full-time job is 50 weeks out of the year with only two weeks vacation. School is only eight months of a year with FOUR months vacation.
If you don't like your degree program, change it. There are always going to be courses you won't like, but they are requirements.
There are plenty of people who have said the same thing you have and they end up not going back to school. Most of them regret the decision too.

i agree.
you need to find something you enjoy.
in the meantime, take basics if you haven't already.
i'm in my first year of college and hate some of the work and projects.
but i do it because i love art and one day it'll all pay off.
and yeah, i would be pissed if i were a parent and my child took off to go skiing.
i think it's only a waste of time to go if you absolutely don't know what you want to do and have no basics to complete.
school is school. and it sucks now. but just think about the long run. it'll all pay off.

Take a year off, it is your life. You probably don't know what you want to go to college for anyway, it would just be a waste of time, it sounds like your going just to please your parents anyway. You can always go back to school, take a break and live a little bit of your life and then you'll know what you want out of school.

You need to find a program that interests you. From a parents prespective they probably it is a waste of money to start college and quit to GO SKIING. Compromise, look into online courses at your school so you can take them at home, while you work, and go skiiing.

If you go back to school now, you are going to screw off anyway! Why go back and blow your parents money. Just as well take a year off and get it out of you system then finish! Good Luck

Once you take a break, there is no guarantee that you will go back. You will find some lame excuse or the other, and then what ? think. So it's better to complete it now.

Finish With School the whole way. after you're done punch your parents in the face for making you go through all that

u should go to school because it is only about 1 year after that u will enjoy ur life with a good job.always obey ur parents.because they are more experinced than u bhaiya(brother)
