I think Sacramento needs to have an energy guy. They have speed with Marting and grunt with Artest, a point guard is not a problem to so I think they are going to fill the four or three slot with their pick. I think Joakim Noah or Brewer would be a great fit for them. Go Gators!!!

right now their draft pick is estimated to be at #9 and they are said to draft Tiago Splitter which makes sense as they need a big man.
The NBA does have less top draft picks because the NBA life is extended so a player can play for 20+ years in the NBA and a prime is 28-32 compared to the NFL where 28 is considered old at some positions. Also the NBA starts 5 guys and only carries 12 active players on a roster that plays both ways while the NFL starts over 25 with offense, defense, kickers, not even to mention special teams. Start over 5 times as many people, have a short career life, and you're going to be able to find more players later in rounds because you need more players to keep the league afloat.

Dear prohess,
i don't know but i do know that they need some front-line help. Brad Miller is old and was hurt all year. Abdul-Rahim has never been who they thought he might be. And Artest is a basket-case and can crack at anytime. i'm guessing that they need some front-court help (although Mike Bibby is getting older and there are rumors of him leaving in the off-season). They were definitely shopping him around during the year-- supposedly a deal was in place with the Lakers but off course we know the Maloofs hate them...
Hope that helps,
Nickster

Unlike the NFL the NBA drops off MASSIVELY in talent after the first few picks. Unless we "Win" the lottery (Which we really can't cuz it's not a true lottery) then our best bet is that Petrie comes back from Europe with another Peja.

They will probably select some Eastern-Europen player with a name that no one will be able to pronounce.
