I have very fair skin but dark brown hair and dark brown eyebrows. There not thick and bushy or anything but i just think that having lighter eyebrows would help me out with looking better. I've tried to get them coloured lighter by a beutician but they ended up coming out orange blonde instead of a nice lighter brown. Is there any product (apart from getting them chemically coloured) i can by like a cream or a powder that i can apply myself that would make my eyebrows appear lighter and not so blatant against my white skin?

All I can say is that I would be VERY careful when using products at home!! I think that having darker eyebrows looks better on a person....at least I have been told that.....I have naturally blonde hair and black eyebrows!!! HAHA!! Anyways, I would just be very careful! I tried an at home product one and it turned mine orange....I was in eighth grade at the time and my mom penciled them in! It was so bad! If it dosnt work at the salon than it probably wont work at home.....who knows

I use Jolen bleach which lightens the hair colour. You can get it from any pharmacy, if they dont have jolen then ask for another brand. It will provide you with directions on the box. Apply it for 3-5 minutes. If you want it even lighter than apply it for slightly longer. I have black eyebrows and if i use it for 7-8 minutes they turn blonde.

Actually, the first answer is correct. Dying or bleaching eyebrows at home is risky.
Since your brows bleach down to an unflattering color, how about balancing them out by drawing attention to your lips? You can try wearing a sheer, red lip color.
ex) Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey or Almost Red, Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Cherries in the Glow
BeneFit lipstick in Birthday Suit
Applying lighter colored brow waxes, powders or gels won't really work to "hide" your true color.

Try look out for beauty saloon that provide eye brow embroidery. Show them some pictures of the shape you want and make sure they do pencil the shape before embroidery it. Make sure you choose the colour that is darker than what you want as the colour tends to fade if you are using any whitening products on your skin.

Dont colour ur eyebrows,u just have to get them fixed,go to a professional makeup artist and she'll know how to fix it for u,if ur saying their dark,than u have to brush ur eyebrows upward and cut them!

I haven't looked into it too much, but you should research "sun-in" products. I know that with hair, it lightens one or two shades of your normal color, but I am not sure about eyebrows.... But, definately take it to a professional!

SugarPlum is exactly right. You would have to color dark brows and it is very dangerous, not to mention never looking natural. You could easily become blinded :(
