It is sad that the church has covered this up and not had these church leaders prosecuted. They should have been put in jail and they would not have been able to get to so many kids. I am assuming they had homosexual tendencies since "most" of the cases i had heard about involved teen-age boys rather than younger children.

The majority of cases of man/boy abuse happens w/ men who are straight & boys who are loners. The boys may have non-existant homelives, no parental controls. The sickos who abuse them, whether boyscout leaders, preists or just plain whack jobs are for the most part looking to control another person.
