i cant play the foll. games on visual boy advance 1.8?

i cant play pokemon emerald, sapphire and ruby on the emulator but i can play all the other games and i've also tried changing the settings and all that please help me many thanks

1. Activate the RTC ( real time clock). This in Options>Emulator
2. Change the save type to Flash 128k. This is under Options>Emulator>Save type.

Note, this will not fix a game that is in progress. Activate the RTC, start the ROM, then change the save type.
