21-31 days sometimes longer -- the main thing is this, if you keep track each month, then you will get to know when to expect it (if it is regular). Some ppl have irregular periods, no matter what, there's so much going on in your body, but 26 days is not too close at all. Every two weeks, that's too close.

You're fine. From what I understand, especially when you're young, your periods will vary in length and how close they are together. Are you taking birth control? This could also effect your period. Don't worry about it.
