Dwight D. Eisenhower because I would like to have been a part of his planning for the some of the greatest battle strategies in human history and I was not yet born until years later so it would have been interesting to go back in time to a place which changed the course of history.

I'm assuming you're asking who I would vote for if all three were running for President at the same time, so that's the question I will answer.

I probably would have voted for Kennedy, primarily because at the time of their presidential candidacy Kennedy would have been the only one with political experience on a federal level, being a Senator at the time of his candidacy.

Roosevelt had been Governor of New York prior to being a candidate for President, and did not have much exposure to the nation in general. He won his election primarily because the general public blamed the Great Depression on Herbert Hoover.

Eisenhower's claim to fame at the time of his candidacy was for leading the U.S. to victory over Germany in World War II. He had absolutely no political experience, but was quite popular, which is why he was elected.

Kennedy was the only man with political experience when he ran for president, so if the three men had all been running for the office at the same time, I would have voted for Kennedy.

As a side comment, I suspect that the general public would have probably voted in favor of Eisenhower, primarily because of his popularity.

well one small problem with your question

JFK was like 36 (minimum running age) when he ran for president. So to have voted for him even as early as 1942 or so (last fdr election) would be impossible. he was a naval officer at the time.

Also Eisenhower was a general at the time and probably wouldnt have had the attention even if he had quit the service to run, to become president.

so i cant answer your question.

I like Ike. Roosevelt has done irreparable harm. Kennedy doesn't seem as bad now as I thought then.

J.F.K. because we never had a chance to see what he could do for America.
