Sorry, please do excuse my vulgarity, but All I could say about the comments above me is BULL ****! .. Its completely safe. I have lived my whole life between Kuwait, Switzerland and The States. For the last seven years, Ive spent 7 months of the year in the states and the rest in Kuwait. I was more safe in Kuwait than the US. I am 23 years old and I am a female and I have faced absolutely no problems, nor have the thousands of people and relatives that I know in Kuwait. Do not take biased opinions of racists and ruin an opportunity that may open doors to you. I would recommend you go for a visit for a few days to see for yourself rather than listen to any prejudiced opinions. Getting rape in public is just a horrendous and ridiculous to even claim in a place like Kuwait. Do not take my word for it just check the crime rate per capita and compare it to anywhere else.

Wishing you the best for a successful career ..

NONONO! My father was an oil worker in Kuwait for five and a half years. We finally had to leave and come back to the states because my sister, who was 8, and I, 14, had both gotten beaten and raped in public, and the police told my father it was because we were walking around by ourselves with jeans on, that gave the men the right to do what they wanted because we weren't leaving much to the imagination. We were kids! And a woman staying alone in a hotel is considered fair game as a hooker. Those men do things in public and proudly that criminals here would have to hide and sneak.

oh probably, but I wouldn't count on it being the job you went over their for. You would likely end up as a "personal services specialist" before you were found again.

I don't think so, not even a little. Too dangerous over there in the middle east right now.

No. Sexism and passport theft by the employeers are rampant. Some employeers have turned around and tried to inslave their employees.
