i don't think gays, lesbians, bi's, ect. should go to hell. it all depends on if you are born gay or if you become gay. if you are born gay its like god is comdemning you to death or something, its almost like he doesnt like you. if you are born gay then you cant do anything about it and thats no fair on that person's part. now if you become gay thats different, if you become gay well then thats gets into the question, does god really know whats going to happen to you every moments of your life and if he does why doesnt he try to help gays? if he knows whats going to happen why doesnt he help instead of comdemning them to hell? if he doesnt know than he can still try and help people anyways. i just think that if god doesnt want to see us go to hell than he should he gays to either convert back (which is kinda hard because you cant really persuade someone into being staight) or just let then into heaven instead of letting them stay in hell! its just unfair to gays! Equality!

Well, you answered your own question! Just focus on what you know is right or wrong; don't worry about Christian propaganda and ambiguous ancient texts written by humans like yourself.

A little bit of confusion there! No one deserves to go to hell - purely for being gay no matter what their personal journey is to arriving to the conclusion they want to be defined as 'gay' However some people believe we create our own heaven and hell here on earth. If that is the case then we have alot more control over our own fate than some might have us believe!

Anyone who doesn't know Jesus as their personal savior is going to hell. Be he gay, straight, bi, or whatever. So many people get hung up on the sin, and forget that Jesus took on our sins so that we may be forgiven. God only asks that we believe in the sacrifice His Son made, and he'll take us into heaven in the end. But sadly, so many gay people abandon their faith because of the way many Christians bash them. It hurts my heart to know that so many souls are lost because these people think they are helping.

I will tell you the same thing that I tell everyone who asks this question. No one, in all history, has ever gone to Hell for being Gay. Not one person.
What it takes to not go to Hell is trusting God. A Christian is a Christian because he or she trusts God through Jesus Christ. Anyone who does that, Gay or Straight, will be counted as one of God's people. All the others are not counted as God's people. What the Fundies might say notwithstanding.

You must be very young Matt, and I'm not trying to insult you even though you have know problem insulting us. If you believe in the Bible that's wonderful and I'm sure someone in the religious section would be much more receptive to your views. I personally think the Bible is a load of crap, it's just a story written by a MAN and stories change from day to day. Just imagine how much a story written by a MAN can change in 2000 years. Is your life so empty that without this story your life has no meaning to it.
Life is short buddy boy and not me or anyone else in the GLBT community is going to loose sleep or worry about there lifestyle to please you or anyone else who can find no direction with there own pitiful lives.

Nah. My personality is too big to fit under anyone's thumb.
And I agree, it's unfair and hypocritical dogma, that doesn't really apply at all to reality.
