No, he doesn't. Holy Matrimony is meant as a special occasion for the Bride and Groom.
The groom has to consummate the union with his newly wedded bride on their wedding night. If he doesn't consummate the union then they are not truly married until he does and it can be annulled by either party. If he does consummate the union then they are officially married and if it doesn't work out, either party can get a divorce.
Otherwise, if they do consummate the union and the bride has not conceived and given birth to a child, she will still be considered a bride until that happens (unless she had children prior to the wedding). When she does bear a child for the groom, they will then be husband and wife.
(Husband is the status of a married man who has paternal responsibilities, until then he is still a groom. Wife is the status of a married woman who has maternal responsibilities until then she is a bride. )
The best man and maid of Honor are only responsible for the wedding arrangements and money accounting. The best man handles the arrangement on behalf of the groom, and likewise the maid of Honor makes arrangements pertaining to the upcoming wedding on behalf of the bride.
The groomsmen and bridesmaids are subject to the best man and maid of Honor.

I slept with the actual Bride, but that was all her doing. She called me the night before the wedding and well, being a good friend to her I took care of business. her husband called one of my girlfriends a W H O R E once and punched me when I was wasted so I figured all's fair. I boned her well. In fact, she came back for more after they were married, but I did not take it. I'm not all that bad.

i dunno about all that but i went to my boys wedding and wasnt even standing up in the wedding and i got a bridesmaid. ended up staying with her for like 2 weeks. had her telling me she loved me after a week. if shes hot go for it. chicks hook up at weddings alot because it makes them think about finding their hubby and they just go for the first guy that sweet talks them.
