There are 2*2*2 = 8 possible ways the coins will fall. There are two possible ways that there is no match: acb and bac. The rest have two coins that match. Therefore odds are 6/8 that two coins will match.

P(2 coins match) = 1 - P(no coins match)
P(2 coins match) = 1 - 2/8 = 3/4
