I would consume every drop of pleasing him, loving him, and live like it was here now. Sometimes we take those closest to us for granted. And he is by far the most Man I have ever seen in all of my life... And I am not just saying this because he is my hubby, it is true. I am sure there are others out there just like him, but he is my hubby to spoil and the thought of him being gone, is devastating.
I think this is what it means when they say two become one... Just the same as we are not a literal ONE, our hearts and souls now complete each other, working in the best of a crazy world together to create our own safe haven...

we both had a long hard wait to find each other and now that we have it we cherish it deeply
we always joke where were you 20 yrs ago but to honest it is not that funny
we both feel, if we get another 50 yrs together it won't be long enough and that is the sad part

Pray. A lot. Do whatever I can for them. Make sure there's always fresh flowers in the house for them to enjoy. Make sure they don't have to tend to details like dishes or balancing the checkbook. At that stage, it's the little things that really count.

oh god, that would suck. yes, I would cling to every precious moment.
gee, you know. I've seen her near death once before. it was miraculous she survived the injury.
I don't know how I could ever be happy again if she were gone. I wasn't even happy before I met her. every second would be filled with grief.
how would I be able to ever enjoy life again? the only things I would have left to live for are the lives of others. even though my life would be hopeless, there would still be hope for the people whose lives I could touch.

I think I would be rather sad for a bit...and then make the most of the rest of the time I have with them. What else could you do? Thats just life.
