KOBE BRYANT IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA. HE DOES NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE, HIS TEAM NEEDS TO COME OUT THERE AND PLAYER LIKE THEY OWE KOBE SOME WINS. HELL, KOBE IS THE ONLY REASON THE LAKERS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS.
By the way, jdwj, are you just retarded. Preaching MJ's accomplishment as a way to knock down Kobe Bryant. First off, if you are comapring them then you are saying that Kobe is damn good. Secondly, how many titles, MVP's, or any of that stuff did MJ win with a horrible team. Guess what I'll tell ya, 0. That is right. MJ didn't win a damn thing without good-great players around him. 90% of those stats are team stats where if it wasn't for the team, MJ would have never had( as well as the team would have never had without Jordan). Jordan had a great team in his later year, Kobe had a great team in his early years. With free agency, you are not going to see teams get 6 titles in 8 years anymore. You are nothing more than a Kobe hater that knows absolutely nothing about basketball. Get a life and get off Jordans nuts, you get nothing outta it groupie.

Hey Kevin,
i was at the game tonight and right before half time, there was a very telling stat that proves your point.
At one point during the game: Kobe was 8 for 10 and the rest of the team was 7 for 29. The truth is Kobe averaged 5-6 assists this year and really could have averaged close to 10 if his team could shoot.
Tonight Lamar and Kwame stepped up and the two of them and Kobe was a combined 31 of 57. Everyone else i think was a combined 5 for 20 (or something like that).
It was a good team effort tonight and even the guys who didn't tally much, like Shammond Williams who played some good D and Luke gave them a good effort.

With a better supporting cast the lakers can be a win win team whether kobe scores alot or not. He just needs like 3 more better players. Lamar odom is good enough. Now he jsut needs like a robert horry and a richard hamilton then they can win championships.

I am personlaly from Los angeles and that man can play the lakers need more leaders to step up like when they had robert horry,rick fox, glenn rice, shaq and kobe now that was a dream team.

i am a lakers fan and all but kobe cant do any more than what he did tonight
he had a few oppurtunitys to get rid of the ball in stead of forceing some shoots but they won so its all good
if we can get it back to 2-2

He needs to stop with the contested jumpshots over 3 defenders.
If he's got space he should drive to the basket and DUNK it down hard and send a message.
Too many outside shots is helping the Suns run away to a lead... literally.

i dont hate kobe but im not a huge fan either but i guess kobe does what he needs to make his team win. i dont care what people say, a true basketball fan realizes kobe is the best thing to happen to the nba since mike jordan.
