how much should i tip the lady when i get my eyebrows waxed? it's already pricey at $18.?

Forget about tipping, christ sake. Find a new salon, or at least one just to get your eyebrows done. 18 dollars for someone to put hot wax on your face and rip out the hairs, is way too much. I get mine done for about 10 bucks and the girl that does 'em is great.

about $2-3 should be ok. I would base a tip on how good of a job is done and the courtesy of the lady doing it.

That depends on if she does them good if she does then tip her maybe three, four dollars. And if they suck then don't tip her at all. You don't have to tip her anything all she is doing is causing you pain when she rips the hair out if you have to pay that much then she's probably paid well.

i think most ladies get it done because they have little or no eyebrows, or because the hair grows in a funny direction.. on the contrary some women like drawing them on, or having semi-permanent tattooed eyebrows. i dont think they do the same when they remove hair anywhere else. hope this helps.

Nice of you to consider tipping...just think of being in her shoes working with people's facial hair. Can get pretty gross.

i would say pay with a $20 and let her keep the change. you were in the chair for all of about 1 minute, so i dont think she really deserves a huge tip.

$3.50 would be close to 20% but honestly I think if the service costs$18 then $20 is very appropriate.
