Well my definition of love is my own & it is this - doing nice things for someone b/c you care about them & want to make them happy, you genuinely have concern for that person's well-being & want nothing but the best for them. You are able to accept this person for the person they are. You can listen to them & understand, not criticsize. They accept you for you & do nice things for you, also. You just care about the well-being & happiness of each other - that's love.
