I was thinking if everybody got down on their State Governor, Senators, and Congressmen to apply more pressure on the White House it might be a good idea. What do you think?

Real patriots question there elected leaders no matter what party they're from. There has been intrusion into our private affairs before this administration. During the Clinton administration there were 200,000 plus phone taps. But after 9/11 and the whole patriot act thing it is alot worse. This isn't a republican or democrat thing. It's a backdoor agenda thing. People need to stop buying into this 2 party system and look past it all. Our government needs to drink a big cup of real "freedom coffee" and back out of our lives. They all need to stop intruding into everyones business and just concentrate on the basic principles this great country of ours is based on. The sad thing is, that will never happen now. It is up to all of us.

I believe in the 2 party system and checks and balances. When i vote, I always try to apply it so that i vote for a balanced system. But since i am liberal, I am biased to the left. But, i trust honest Conservatives to act with the best interest of the US. But it also seems the current Admin. is more interested in changing America into their image and rewarding their friends than continuing a 200 year tradition. I am 51 yrs old and can remember a time when there really wasn't much difference between moderates and those of either side...there was a difference, but it was almost a hypothetical difference. The current model is a reflection of the many bad things in our society....it is really a matter of whether self interest is more important than the common good...and it seems selfishness is winning out.

This is an awesome, and insightful question, and I am going to give you part of the same answer I gave to one of Ed-Mike's questions the other night!

What should be done with them? Bastille Day comes to mind!
All the people in this country could get together and storm the white house, and the pentagon, and the Federal Reserve Building, etc., and guillotine the lot of them!

It may seem really hard core drastic, but it may actually come to this at some point in the not so distant future. *sm*

Most of the answers in favour of Bush are delusional in nature.
They seem to be in DENIAL mode at present. Only time will tell.
I fail to understand how the current government can get away with such heinous crimes and can only pray that they and their supporters GET WELL SOON!

How much are you being paid to write your seditious fiction? Could you send me the contact information for Michal Moore and Company? I've had several small works of fiction published and believe I could do well for your employer as your work doesn't appear to have any imagination or attention getter's; just the same old thing. I know I could do better.

Thanks

Congress is already doing what it can with all the investigations into things, like the prosecution of Scooter Libbey and the inquiry into the firing of 8 federal prosecutors. I'm waiting for the REAL investigations: into corruption and waste in Iraq, the incredible deals that Haliburton got, Cheney's Energy Policy as designed by Exxon and Enron, other definite problems.

Other than that, there is little we can do except wait for two more years and throw the bums out. Unless, of course, these investigations reveal some concrete evidence of criminal activity.

So with number 6 we should throw out the 2006 election results? OK.

Remember it is not what you "feel" but what is real as in facts, evidence, laws, and so on.

Oh if you need any of those big words like evidence defined go to www.websters.com

Real Patriots elected a President who is protecting them from the enemy.
REAL Patriots do not bash the war and their President with SUCH vile and vulgar comments. They RESPECTFULLY disagree...but then you would not know what a REAL patriot does anyway because you are a liberal.
