this is HP's outlet notebook site. I suggest the dv5220us. Great notebook for a great price, and it still has XP on it, Not Vista!

Check weekly ads and those especially around holidays. Also, continually check Dell and HP for unadvertised deals. Sometimes refurbished are available but you have to check often - they go fast.
