I could give you some smart as# answer like so many others here, but I won't, I'll be normal, and answer the question.
#1, I think they have changed alot, as in how they cook their food, I know they used to toast their buns, and they don't anymore. I almost wonder if they are useing a cheaper grade of meat too.
#2, Back when we were kids, Mcdonalds was the "bee's knee's"! I really don't remember many other places that we went to for a burger. Where I'm from, Indiana, we also had Burger Chef, and it was awesome!
#3. We were trained by our parents to like it, because it was cheap! (and now we know better!) We thought we were getting something special, and they were making out like fat rats, cause we were happy with a meal that costs $1.99!
And on that same note, have you noticed too, how KFC's "original recipe", does not taste the same as it did when we were kids either! Back in the day, that was good stuff! Makes me sick every time I eat there now, every time!
Needless to say, I try to stay away from there! :0]

Oh, I did too. I was practically raised there since my mom was a Manager. Things were so much different. They had the characters and the jingles and just like everything else these days unfortunately T.V. or games have taken over instead of a bunch of kids playing on a playground. Plus, customer service is no longer the most important thing anymore. It is hard for them to get employees who will just show up for work. Ray Crock (Creator of McDonald's) would be very, very disappointed. There quality all the way around has changed, even the food. I now realize how unhealthy it is too.

I think that, when you're a kid, the Happy Meals that McDonalds and many other fast-food restaurants offered made their food "better." Not literally better, of course, but more enjoyable. I know when I was little, I loved getting these meals and getting a toy. Now that I'm older, there aren't any such things that make a meal exciting as an adult.

Just like me, you have outgrown the taste of it. We all go through that phase when a certain something we are crazy for hardly makes an impact now as an adult.
lt's also that we tend to avoid oily food as we get older.

Because now you are more tuned in and aware of how unhealthy it is. Kids are usually less concerned about how healthy McDonalds is (or isn't).

Could be because you ate it too much as a child and have lost a taste for it. Or maybe it's because it just don't taste as good as it used to.
