Diatamatious Earth might do it. Here is west Texas we have alot of roaches and I use this stuff called Demon. Sounds evil, but it works. $14.99 and it comes with 4 packs of powder. Put two packs in one of those sprayers and fill with water. I paid a company $45 every 2 months to spray for bugs and come to find out, Demon was what they were using!

I don't know if it helps with Roaches, but I helped a Spanish lady move one time and her cupboards were filled with leaves, when I asked, I found out they were Bay Leaves and they keep the bugs away....I'm not sure which bugs, but I didn't run into any roaches while I was helping her move. I also heard if you cut off their food and water source and that they LOVE toothpaste. I put those baits everywhere and spray around the out side of the house with that big gallon you get from Wally World and don't usually have a problem (IN FLA!!!!!) But you can't leave food out or soda cans on the counter or stuff in the sink, you have to seal everything up....and clean up....Good Luck! I HATE those NASTY things and they can get SO big. (P.S. Also, don't leave your pets food out. Pick it up and seal it up at night) They also like paper, for some reason....

Once and for all, no. But the DE and Boric Acid are two nontoxic materials that will help. Keeping clean, food in sealed containers, regular wiping out cabinets, keeping clothes clean and off the floor, etc, etc..........plus having the city spray the sewers....or at least the manhold covers!....should reduce the number. You could also move to Colorado high country.......I never saw them up there!

Try Boric Acid and sugar mixed together. Sugar attracts the cockroaches and the boric acid will kill them. I put it all around my house like a line. Our neighbors had roaches and I watched the roaches and when they started to cross the line they would turn back or else eat the sugar and take it back to their nest. You could put jar lids with boric acid and sugar nearly all over your house. One thing good it is not toxic!
