What do u think the human eace shall evlove into next? This is for you darwin believers. I mean if we supposedly "evolved" from primates, what is the next step in our evolution?

Actually, I think human evolution has been stunted in many ways, with a couple of exceptions.

Modern medicine now allows a larger percentage of population to survive and breed, defeating the basic "competitive" aspect of evolution. Persons with inferior genetics (from the physical standpoint only!) now survive to breed and pass on conditions that would be eliminated in a truly evolutionary process. So the population, as a whole, will remain more stable for a longer period of time. Personally, I don't think that's bad. I'd rather have the contribution to society from those individuals than worry about their short-term impact on species purity.

Mankind's use of tools is another evolution stopper. Why develop an eleventh finger when a tool allows a ten finger person to successfully compete.

There are two important exceptions where evolution will continue: 1. Modern society (travel, communication) now allows a greater mix of genetic material, creating a homogenization of ethnic and environmental sources that will provide interesting and fantastic material for future evolution. 2. Resistance to disease continues to evolve, making modern and future mankind far more resistant to diseases.

The more obvious trends of evolution, such as clear increases in human size and intelligence, have their limits. You can only get so big before the knees fail to hold the weight. Sometimes, evolution means smaller, not bigger. So I think most of this growth is nearing its peak for some time to come.

Evolution happens through natural selection. Some members of the species have specific characteristics that give them the opportunity to survive longer and have more children. They pass these characteristics to their children and little by little these become characteristics of the species.
In human society as it is today there are no physical characteristics that allow one to survive longer and have more children. This is a matter of wealth or decision. So if the world keeps being more or less as it is, there will not be any evolution of the humans. If some major catastrophe happens and society is reduced to a primitive stage then there will be chance for evolution but hw it will go will depend on how the new envirnoment will be after the catastrophe and what kind of characteristics would be an advantage for survival there.

I strongly suggest you consider the fact that there have never been any half breed fossils found by any scientist. Darwin himself struggled with the fact that no fossils ever gave evidence to a changing human. However if this is your belief then the next step can be predicted by historical back round. According to Darwin we evolve to survive. Since man is at the top of the food chain, our body's no longer need to evolve. Until we expand our environment. Once we get to space we will evolve to the next level that is required for our most guaranteed survival.

Your question illustrates one of the problems with the theory, i.e. the theory has no predictive power in an uncontrolled environment. Just like the dinosaurs, we humans could all be made extinct in a matter of days.

A theist would say that we have come to be here on earth through divine action. An atheist would say that we come to be here by a mechanism based upon random chance.

To the atheist, evolution is sort of like a slot machine. A slot machine is well understood and well defined, but in operation, the actual payout depends upon chance. But chance is simply ignorance so the atheist really gives up on an explanation.

Based on the fossil evidence we can se these trends in the human body
1 getting taller..this is actually one thing we can see happening....low doors in old houses and people in Japan for example are getting taller faster in the last 50years since dairy products decreased in price.

2. Our brains....our brains are getting bigger. Certain parts in particular are much more advance (frontal lobe) than in other animals, inlcuding other primates. This part of the brain is to do with

3. As a result of the increasing frontal lobe area, our foreheads are flat compared to other fossils of homonids eg other homo speices, austalipithecine species etc. It should continue to become more rounded.

4. our fingers and thumbs..we should continue to develop our fingers and thumbs, they may perhaps get longer and more muscles may develop (we have 3 more muscles in our thumbs than apes) .

5. Its possible our backs and hips may change as we still get a lot of back problems (as a result of walking on 2 legs), so that there may be less problems in these areas.

6. Our jaws are getting smaller. This is seen with problems of wisdom teeth and why many are pulled out! Some people do not even get them (myself included....mid 30's and still don';t have them!).

These are just some off the top of my head, but I am sure there are others, probalby to do with speech and language, as well as structural.

There was an article I read as a kid that said evolution will someday make us all 7 foot tall and bald. Probably the bald part will be corrected by the beauty industry.

Anyway, you will also notice surival of the fittest now isn't always physical. Athletes will have their place. But now, its the brains and the attitude that determines one's place in the food chain. So in the future, we will probably all be dorky nerds with glasses.

The evidence for evolution is and has been interpreted from a Philosophical and ideological Bias, The answers given by adherents to Evolution here in R&S is proof of the bias and agenda, Atheism has to have an alternate explanation—other than a Creator—for how the universe and life came into existence.
Darwin once identified himself as a Christian but as a result of some tragedies that took place in his life, he later renounced the Christian faith and the existence of God. Evolution was invented by an atheist.
What is sad is that Christians are falling into this Trap and trying to fit evolution into the Bible (Theistic Evolution) thinking they can make it fit.
Lee Stroble in his video listed below “ The Case for the Creator” stated (5 min. 28 sec into the video) The Case for a Creator

That “There is no way you can Harmonize Neo Darwinism with Christianity, I could never understand Christians who would say “ Well I believe in God yet I believe in Evolution as well” You see Darwin’s idea about the development of life led to his theory that modern science now generally defines as an undirected process completely devoid of any purpose or plan,”. Now how could God direct an undirected process? How could God have purpose in a plan behind a system that has no plan and no purpose? It just does not make sense.
It didn’t make sense to me in 1966 and it doesn’t make sense to me now.
The Apostle Paul wrote to His Son Timothy stating that “ in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, [because] they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn [their] ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

Those Christians who believe in evolution have no idea how that effects their theology.

Understand something, please...
"Evolution" does NOT mean that "science" is "anti-God/Creator/whatever...!"
In my own lifetime, I have seen things "evolve, adapt, change, survive, and pass on those "survival" characteristics to offspring.
I, myself, have been, and continue to "evolve" as things constantly change, and I've witnessed myself "adapting" and "changing" and passing on those "survival" traits to others.
"Evolution's" simple premise is this...
If there is a "God," He created an "evolving"
process!
"Evolution" is an "obvious" trait of "life."
And if there is a "Creator," then how else would we "change" from mere mortals, to beings able to communicate and share our thoughts with such a "mighty" being?
If there is a "God," then "evolution" was HIS/HER/IT's greatest creative feature of "life.!"
Get it?!?
It's possible to believe in both. Stop thinking one cancels out the other...

Evolution was just a THEORY. It's not called a theory for nothing.

We never "evolved" from primates or anything. God created us in his image.
