It may just be bruised. I had the same thing happen to me and I could barely sit down or get up and trying to get out of a car was horrible. You may want to see a doc, but I'm thinking that b/c it's your spine, if anything was majorly wrong, you would be in major pain and wouldn't be able to move.

You might have broken it - I did this once and it hurt for a month. Didn't find out til years later when I had a spine x-ray that there was evidence of a healed fracture.

You may have fractured your coccyx. You have to get an X-ray. Even if you have fractured it there is not much you can do. You cannot cast a coccyx
