Yeah, they could have to answer questions about how they simultaneously lost two major wars, allowed a major US city to backslide into the sea, lost all international respect, have failed to capture Osama Bin Ladden six years after 9/11 and have allowed a culture of corruption and nepotism to reign in supposedly non-partisan departments.

Too bad you all are so young. You don't have a clue about what a political debate is supposed to be.

It isn't a boxing match, nor a mud-slinging party. Believe it or not, a debate is a chance for the voters to size up the candidate - get his reaction to the questions, evaluate his demeanor, listen to what he says... How does he react to unexpected questions? Does he answer? Evade the question? Change the subject?

It is supposed to be civilized.... We are so use to the trashing, name calling and vicious attacks that when we see something REAL, we don't recognize it.

It was a rather sorry debate. I think they thought they could turn the entire debate into a bashing session over Iraq, but weren't allowed to.

It would have been hard. Each trying to out do each other in bashing Bush. WTF they going to do in Jan 09 when Bush is not president anymore?

Just imagine with a Dem Prez................Forward to Feb 09

Uh Mr President what are you going to do about health care?

"Uh huh huh huh... Bush really messed up he is bad and evil we should investigate his action in political fundraising in 2003".

But Mr Prez its 2009?

"Uh huh huh I am asking Congress to see if Mr Bush used more than one sheet of tp in 07 after Ms Crow told us how to save the environment".

Back to present.... Do Dems ever respond to anything w/o bashing Bush... Think about that next time they speak..

Heck just read the libs answers to this question! Did this question have anything to do about Bush? NO! But read their lame as$ answers ROFLMAO
