Your reference to Diana shows that you know of Diana, the goddess of the Greco Roman world, who was allegedly the inspiration for early mathematicians. Pythagoras claimed that he was inspired by Diana to investigate the theorem of the squares on the sides of a right triangle. When he had proved his theorem, he offered her a sacrifice of 100 oxen. You ask if Diana herself would have been able to perform that particular arithmetical calculation. She herself would not, but the mathematicians under her protection would have been able to do it, even without the benefit of modern calculators.
