I sell items on eBay and only offer USPS (regular post office) service because there aren't any UPS locations near me. The regular post office will attempt to deliver your package, however if it will not fit into your mailbox - they will put a slip in there letting you know that you need to pick it up.
Each seller is different, so check to see if they offer different services and then pay for the one that you prefer.
I hope this helps! ♥ Tracy ♥

It depends on the seller it will tell you at the bottom of the auction what service they use if it does not then you can e-mail the seller before you buy. I have purchased a lot on e-bay and they seem to be equally divided between USPS and ups

Most sellers ship through the USPS, but not all. They are supposed to define the method of shipping in their shipping terms, but if they don't, you can always contact them and see.
