Do you think they nation would have an issue with a white male scholarship since it thus far has only embraced minority scholarships? Would it be called racist by the same people that support all black or all female programs?

You can't be white and male and be proud, that is racism. Racism isn't awarding blacks for the color of their skin, but if you did that to a white guy, that would be. If you can prove you are a certain percent of American Indian, you go to school for free. So much for equality, its quite unfair.

Let me help bust the myth right now of White Male Scholarships. Most of the merit aid out there is awarded to white males via the admissions process. And thats OK. Yes there are many scholarships that focus on an ethnic group. However their are not as many as you think. Most scholarships care little of race and more about qualification with regard to grades, scores, and intended career field or major of study. In fact. much of the financial aid I won during my hunt came not from ethnic based grants, but scholarships where race wasn't even a factor. A few white male scholarships exist, but they are either sponsored by a group you wouldn't want to be tied to, or are eligible to everyone under the sun. Either way, impediments to winning scholarships are less an issue of race, and more about qualification and competition.

I was rejected for a grant in the 80 because I made too much money. I was graduating high school, working as a bag boy and raked in a cool three grand that year just enough to make payments on a 1970 used car and insurance!

Probably. The company I worked at had not hired a white male in 17 years at the plant I worked at in attempts to meet its diversity standards. Whites, the new minority, the newly oppressed.

You apparently are unaware of the millions of dollars in legacy scholarships that only go to white men. The whole reason these alternative scholarships were needed was because the white men had grabbed the whole pie and called it their rightful inheritance. SHaring fairly hurts so bad.

Equality is a one way street. Yes, it would be deemed racist, sexist and politically incorrect.
