It's "theta". Your question is ambiguous. Please use proper notation and parentheses. I can't tell if

"cos 2 thata" means cos²θ or cos(2θ). I will assume it is the latter. Ditto with "sin 2 thata". Again I will assume it is
sin(2θ).

In the first or second quadrant, sinθ is positive. Sin(2θ) is in quadrant 3 or 4. In either case it is negative. So the answer is:

4) sin(2θ) < b.
