In order to get the upper hand. Hair is easy to grab, it hurts and you can throw or pull that person down easier. You get a better advantage and you are the one on top. It is probably a control thing.

I guess it's automatic guys don't because most of them don't have long hair I am sure they would though, guys act like oh it's such a "wuss" or whatever thing to do but when people fight it's very instinctual and you want to do the quickest thing to cause harm to the other person and it is the easiest.

Probably it is the easiest thing to grab on to. In HS, when I knew I was going to fight...hair was pulled back and jewelry removed.

actually they tug on whatever part of the clothing or body that catches their eye. If a man had long hair they would pull that.

Because it is part of my finishing move.....After a few good punches in the face and chest slaps....I go for a hand full of hair close to the scalp then I jerk her head into my knee and throw her *** on the ground....No I really do not know why!

Sweetie I wouldn't know as it has NEVER happened to me, all that I can think of is that it is no rules and street fighting......much more like REAL fighting, than using rules when you are angry, but the angry gene went to my sister,i am coolness personified babe, I don't get riled easily!!!!
