Softball cheers!!!?

Question

Ok so I have a game this weekand and i need cheers. I really need opening cheeres like when you first get on the feild. I would really like cheers not internet sites please!!!

This is a great site with a wide variety of softball cheers. Cheers for your batters, your pitcher as well as cheers specifically about their batters and pitcher. There are also additional cheers. I played softball for about 15 years and this is the most comprehensive listing of cheers I have seen on the internet.

Take it from a former umpire -- cheers are a waste of time. If you are cheering you are not concentrating on the game. The HS at which I am an athletic trainer does not cheer because the coach does not allow it. They are playing in their fourth game in the playoffs and have not allowed a run yet because they are all business on the field.

Personally, I think that softball cheers, although fun to do perhaps, detract from the game and are a form of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Oooohhhh, it's been years since I played softball, but I still remember a couple of them. We only cheered when we were batting, but here are a couple we used:

H-O
H-O-M
H-O-M-E-R-U-N
Homerun (clap clap) Mary (enter batter's name here)

The other one is very similar and often used together with the above one:

B-A
B-A-S
B-A-S-E-H-I-T
Basehit (clap clap) Mary (enter batter's name here)

If you use them together then the rest of the cheer goes:

Basehit, homerun, we don't care, either one. (repeat about 3 times)
