Excuse me, but if you feel that way about her, why are you calling her your friend? If you really feel that way about her you should not only not go but also break up with her.

well if you don't want to go then don't, but like one of the responses said if you feel bad about not going go for like 30 min or so

if you don't even like this person and you're calling her a 'friend'...then you don't know the meaning of friendship*
not liking her parents is another story.
You shouldn't go...as you don't even like her. Have you ever sat down and thought , what it is that you don't like about her? but......No>>Don't go*
