well, one of my sisters wants to begin running regularly, maybe 2-3 times a week to get into shape. the only thing is that she's a 34C, but she thinks that if she begins running, that she'll lose the body weight and body fat and her breasts will become smaller. she's starting to get a little paranoid about this because if that happens, her figure will completely be off. can someone just tell me something about this? like, is it true that if she were to begin running a lot that her breasts would become smaller or anything like that? thank you ladies.

There are fat cells all over the body. If she burns the calories, she'll lose fat which may make her breasts smaller...but if her entire body is losing fat then her prorportions will be okay. The other issue is to tell her that smaller breasts on a healthy body look better (and is better for her than the alternative) larger breasts on a fat body. - Encourage her to educate herself on proper ways to stay in shape. I sure hope that helps.

I think it is possible that should could lose a very small amount of breast size. I wouldn't be too concerned that her body figure would be off as any weight lost would be from everywhere and her body should continue with its current proportions. I think the bigger issue is that she's getting in shape and I hope she doesn't let something like breast size get in the way of her embarking on a healthier life. Hopefully you can encourage her that her body being healthier is more important that what it looks like!

Unfortunately It might.... Mine did.... But I was running about 5-6 days a week. You should know runnnig tones pretty much your whole body from head to toe... So your breast will most likely get smaller but so will other parts of your body... I think a cup size smaller is a small price to pay for a pair of sexy legs and a washboard stomach.

Her body will adjust to its proportionate size as she begins to lose weight.
Contrary to popular desire, you cannot lose weight in particular spots. When you exercise, surplus fat will be lost from many areas, including the breasts.
How much breast fat she loses depends entirely on how much weight she loses altogether.

IF you're overweight, many times one of the first places you seem to lose is in your breasts.
BUT, if she's normal weight and generally athletic, she should have very minimal loss in her breasts.
As hard as it is to do, ditch the convenient sports bra when running, they will make breasts sag because there is too much support, so the breast muscles will lose structure.

well if this helps at all.....doing lifts, or any excersize tht has focus on the chest area, helps give ur breasts muscles and gives them a lift. If she does tht with running her breasts wont get smaller.
