Dry sex is not having enough lube. When this happens it causes friction (sometimes painful for the woman), irritaion and redness. There aren't really "dangers" but it can cause UTI- urinary tract infection which is a common, curable issue. Since it's described, you can draw your own cons from this. The only pro i can think of would be for the man; more friction= more pleasure.

But i dont think he'd have too much fun w/ you in pain.

Dry sex can involve grinding and rubbing against each other, feeling through clothing, or something as simple as the above with a mere sheet between the two of you.
There are, of course, some dangers, minor or major, to all forms of sex. If your clothing is too thin, you may risk the exchange of body fluids between the two of you. On the other hand, it is much safer that most other forms of sex, and is an excellent way of relief for those not ready to 'go the whole way'.

I've never heard of dry sex but definately heard and used the term dry humping. Here's what I found on the subject...

Dry humping is when two people rub their bodies against each other--often moving their genitals together and simulating the motions of intercourse without actually having it. People can be partially or fully clothed or not wear clothes at all. It's also called dry sex or frottage.

Dry humping is a good option for people who don't feel ready or don't want to have sexual intercourse. As with this and any other sexual activity, you should always feel comfortable about what you are doing and who you are doing it with.

Dry humping can be very pleasurable in and of itself, and can stimulate one or both people to orgasm.

Dry humping is considered a safer sex activity because generally, no body fluids are exchanged between the partners. It is safer to do with clothes on since: 1. If a female's vagina is exposed and a male ejaculates on or near the vaginal opening, pregnancy is possible. Without any semen-to-vagina contact, pregnancy is impossible. 2. Sexually transmitted diseases like herpes and genital warts can be transmitted through dry humping if there is bare skin-to-skin contact with an infected partner.

Dry sex is like dry wine, a dry martini, dry humor, et al.
Dry sex is Dry. any sexual activity absent lubricants or bodily fluids. Can be painful for the woman if penetration's involved. There's plenty of flavored sexual lubricants on the market to magically make the dry nice, slippery and flavorful. If there's a chance of bodily fluid exchange use protection, protection, protection, enjoy!

dry sex is when the woman's vagina is not wet. Intercourse continues even though she is not moist enought to accept the penis. The outcome is that generally it is uncomfortable for the woman, dryness can encourage thrush. The best thing to do is to use a lubricant such as KY Jelly. The plus for the man is that it might feel tighter! The plus for the woman is that he might feel bigger!

"Dry sex" also known as "dry humping" is basically just that: it's enacting sex, but with clothes on. It's the safest sex you can have because there's no exchange of bodily fluids.
