Domain = all the values that you can give to x. Here, there is never a problem. Whatever value you give to x, the operation -3x+1 can be performed.


The domain could be restricted if you have divisions (can't divide by zero) or operations that cannot be done on certain numbers (like square roots or logarithms).

So domain = all real numbers.
