Talk about Don Imus, I went to a baseball game saturday and the third baseman at Alabama Southern College was shouting racial slurs at the opossing team during a double
header, is that right or does it just show what a poor coaching
staff Alabama Southern has .

That's unacceptable and inappropriate. That player should be punished. I'm sure that wasn't the first game he pulled those antics. :(

It is NEVER right to racially slur anyone during a baseball game or anywhere else. That kind of conduct is a disgrace to baseball, the team its coming from and the individual. The umpire handling the game should have warned the offending player and his head coach immediately and threatened further action if he did not stop. Shame on him, his coach, his team and the umpire for letting this occur!

It probably says the third baseman was a moron. Certainly that was not all right. Where was the third base coach of the opposing team?? Why didn't he try to put a stop to it?? Maybe that would have helped.

Chow!!

It is very wrong. While I agree that a coach, if aware, should have intervened, I want to know where the umpires were. And I disagree with a previous answer. No warning should be given for such gross unsportsmanlike conduct; the player should be ejected immediately

No, it's never right to do that. Not even if you're in the game. What an a**hole. I guess that's Alabama for you. I hope some of the other team's guys or their fans kicked his a** after the game.

Poor staff only if they know about it. But if he's a good player they'll look the other way. File a complaint with the school president and see what happens.

you didnt say if it was a white yelling at a black or vice versa. isnt it interesting that we are trained brainwashed by the media everyday that racial slurs could only come from white people..anyway it wouldnt of gotten any ink or any punishment of any kind if it was the black yelling racial slurs at the white player..and as for don imus, ive never seen anything so little being blown up into huge deal... if it was a black host saying that about white players then it would of been taken as a harmless joke ..if it was a black host saying that about black players then it wouldnt even make the news...

NEVER. It's a disrepect to the game and to the players. This just proves that southern people are red necks.

Nobody should be shouting racial slurs at anyone. People, unfortunately, never seem to learn.
