The Jackass from Ohio gets my vote. He needs to spend the weekend with Barney Frank

I felt the candidates handled themselves well but frequently did not talk about what they were asked to talk about, and some went overtime. Clinton seemed insincere, Kucinich was excellent but focused on war, Obama was disappointing, and Edwards performed well. Clinton was by far the worst of the candidates in the debate. My vote for the debate goes for Kucinich, but if I had to vote for one in a primary, I would vote for Edwards.

Thank you for asking. After tonight, I liked these for president in this order: 1-Clinton, 2-Biden, 3-Richardson, 4-Obama. Both Richardson and Obama would be fine as vice president. Kucinich and Gravel have the right opinion about nuclear non-proliferation, but they both struck me as the lunatic fringe, who would not make competent administrators or leaders.

There is no reason why there had to be any discussions about race or gender discrimination. I think people are mostly concerned about the war in Iraq.

I say watch from a bar someplace. That way while the dim possibilities for Prez get to be too a lot to deal with you may knock back some and take a verify out to maintain observing! Have mercy! Is usa in hardship, or what!?

Hillary Clinton won the debate and she has my vote. I thought she was brilliant, as usual. Great answer on what she'd do if we were attacked in two of our cities by terrorists. She struck right back at the Republicans who plague her and she did a really good job of it. She was forthright and direct and there wasn't a misstep that I could see.

Obama looked and sounded nervous and seemed unsure of himself in the beginning when he was answering questions about Iraq. But he recovered nicely and he did well, though he comes in second I think.

Edwards, geez I just don't know, I just can't put my finger on it. Something about him does not inspire confidence in me, though he seems to say all the right things. He seems a little too slick to me, even when he's trying deliberately to be genuine.

Richardson seemed overwrought and too impatient. I don't think those are qualities I want to see in a President.

Biden was pretty good, he's a good man, I like him. He'd make a great VP.

Dodd was all right, but forgettable.

Kucinich is a nutjob in my opinion. I hate to use a third grade phrase here but he gives me the creeps, seriously don't like that guy.

Gravel gave the night some badly needed lightness. I know he was serious and he was mad as hell but didn't you just HAVE to smile? He's a trip.

The Democratic debate was boring because no questions about race and gender were asked to make it interesting.

Hillary Clinton has the experience and intelligence to lead the country as President.

It was very interesting. Hillary Clinton was outstanding & presidential. Unfortunately, there was not enough time for the candidates to answer all the questions and I am looking forward to more debates.

Obama, he is sincere. Hillary is too polished and has an agenda to screw the country, and the rest are just there.
