The tub faucette was leaking so hubby rigged it instead of fixing it. Doubled the hose pipe and secured with duct tape. We now only have a shower. What a handyman!

In my apartment we do not have ceiling lights. Only on/off switch on the wall with a socket on the floor basin that turns off a lamp. I so hate that. So in both bedroom and living-room I have a cool hanging chandelier and run a chain cord along the ceiling to the wall and then to a spot by my bed where I can also manually turn it off by my bed besides at the switch as I come into the door. Having to use many extension cords to get all the way around the room.

I was having company and the piece that attaches to the bottom leg of my kitchen table (that keeps it steady) broke, so I used clay, shoved it in the hole and put the piece back on, it worked.

The water in my toilet tank doesn't rise high enough to stop the water running so instead of calling a plumber, I keep a 1 liter coke bottle filled with water inside the tank at all times.

We have a plastic bag wrapped around the pipe under the bathroom sink to stop it from leaking. We have cheap landlords. There's alot around here that could be fixed.

This is kinda funny ... I got tired (or lazy) of turning the fan in my bedroom on each night, and off each morning ... so I bought one of those timers that plugs into the wall outlet ... now the fan turns on / off automatically everyday.

I don't no if this counts but when I first got my house
I could not afford custom blinds (with different colors)
so I became creative and spray painted the old ones i had the way I wanted.
It seemed weird but everybody loved it and kept asking
where did you order them from they said it looks like a
painting I said I custom ordered them from Designs by Lady4life. (myself) they all laughed. Now they all do theirs.

My house is fine but the only thing funny is how my girl is always bored when there are dishes to do or her room needs cleaned.
