Did you find it a little over rated?

Yes, and definitely, I mean well written but come on story could have been told in 300pg not a thousand. Like one of those movies that comes to an end but then suddenly it continues for another hour...stupid!

I read it and yes it is over rated, most of it was a bore.

Yes, I have. It was tough. I loved the romance but I don't care about battle. Guess we will always remember reading that last sentence and shutting the damn thing.

Yes, I have read it, more than once. It is definitely not overrated. Tolstoy is one of my favorite authors. I love Anna Karenina, too.

no bcz i gave up after the 1st couple of pages.. i have spoken to someone who said it gets good after 50pages but i cant be bothered to do so.

LEO TOLSTOY'S MASTERPIECE BUT W/O UNDERSTADING EUROPEAN HISTORY OF THE TIME, IT CAN DRAG ON AND ON. BTW HE WROTE THE WHOLE NOVEL IN PEN AND INK __WAY BEFORE A COMPUTER AND A WORD PROCESSOR. IMAGINE THAT!
