Perforated eardrum?

How long does it take to heal or start hearing good again?Anyone have this happen to them too? How did it feel and how long did it take to heal. Why arent you suppose to smoke cigarettes too while ur eardrum is busted.Im asking these questions because mine is like that.Thanks for ya'lls input.yeah i did go to the doctor but just wanting ya'lls experience.

Many people get perforated eardrums as children and adults who went through ear infections specifically sappurative chronic otitis media (COSM), diving incidents among others. Most get their hearing back but a few do not. You must get medical attention and be diligent with the treatment
