well, ever since i came to high school i met some kewl people and everything but i just can't seem to trust them and i keep doubting their friendship to me for events that keep happening. the people i hang out with are just like me but they are considered "popular" and i feel like i'm just someone they talk to when their other "popular" friends are off somewhere without them. overall, i don't care about popularity but i feel so used. and sometmies, i feel like i should abandon these people but then i'd have no friends and be lonely. what should i do?

First off they are not your friends, they are people you just no.
If they were your true friends you wouldn't be questioning their
friendship. From little you have said they are definitely not your friends.A true friend is someone who likes to hang out with you,not sometimes.I had friends like that but only one is still my friend after 30 years.I do miss her,I had to move out of my home state because my husbands job I see her when ever I go back for a visit. Now that is what a friend is,someone you,
will miss when your not together.

Keep the friends you already have, but at the same time, spend more time trying to make new friends than you spend with your popular friends who so obviously are using you. Make sure that people know that just because you hang out with popular people, it doesn't mean that you can't be nice and a good friend.

ooo..thats a hard question.....well it shouldnt be hard....im still in high skool and sometimes i feel like that too...its hard being alone too....i mean you want friends but you really want good friends that are ganna hang with you for anything....friends arent everything in high skool....what you should do is just focus on getting through high skool..your education is more important than friends....i bet you can make plenty of friends...just let them come to you....or just go out there and go to them....either way..it wont hurt...just saying from experience ..friends arent everything.....b/c friends will leave but your education stays with you...if you need anything else....im here...email: babyxdollx666@yahoo.com....:)...hjope everything turns out 4 the better.

If they were true friends they would always include you in everything they do. Not neglect you untill they feel like talkin to you... I personally would dump tehm and take my chances on finding some new friends.
