I paid attention to a coworker's relating of "when I was a kid" stuff while eating lunch today ... didn't tell 'my' stories, but mostly listened attentively.
also kidded around with cowerker while I was in a grumpy mood ... helped us both out

I went to the petstore for food for the cats today and the poor owner (I know her) was trying her best to get out of a potential argument with a "salesman", I stuck my big old nose in and said something witty and the dude backoff. She thanked me profusely for "helping her out". I certainly didn't expect that but at least I know she appreciated my assistance.

I feed the wild birds, I have doves, grackles, finches, sparrows, and even a pair of Mallard ducks that stop by for breakfast and dinner.

My friend's Daschund is paralyzed and I googled her info on those wheel things they put on them so they can get around. She was having the dog euthanized till I told her about that. â¥
