I disagree. I have many many friends. Ones I call close friends I can count on one hand after a power tool accident. I am very blessed. Those whom I call close friends are my family as far as I'm concerned and I love them very much.

I consider close friends to be my best friends. I know alot of people and consider them friends, but there are only 1 or 2 I'd go to for anything serious or really important in my life. I am also very close to my family.
