What are some good Prog Metal bands out there? I really like the style of music.

edit: @sarah c, this guy here wants 'clean lyrics', by that i guess he meant clean vocals...opeth has growls, their softer album Damnation with clean vocals is kinda boring in my opinion...

I can't believe you didn't list them with PT or Dream Theater, the three bands are usually associated with each other.
Opeth is the reason Steven Wilson pushed Porcupine Tree in the direction of metal and he produced a few Opeth records.

I strongly recommend to you Uriah Heep, specially "Demons and Wizards" and "The Magician's Birthday" albums their lirics are cool, the bass guitar have dinamyte, the guitar roars and the powerful voices made Uriah Heep a great music band.
The lirics are almost stories and I think you will enjoy those albums. also I could suggest Emerson, Lake and Palmer with the album "Brain Salad Surgery". Keywords and drums are excellent on this album.

none. proggresive metal bands are for guys who don't like to sleep with hot chicks. never saw a hot chick at the dream theater concert i went to. it was 95% men and 5% ugly chicks with mullets.
