Obama is one of the favorites to win the US Presidency because of his underdog status like President Lincoln before he was elected.

Actually, race may not work in his favor with black people who can't figure out what he is. To them, he looks like a black guy and talks like a white guy. Many of them prefer Hillary. That said, I'll tell you that I really do like him, but he did not do very well tonight. It was a tough format with so many people and questions. Obama showed that he is inexperienced, and I don't think we need that right now. I hope he'll keep in politica, and he should make a fine candidate in about 8 more years. Of course right now, he would also be fine as a vice president.

No and this is the reason, like many other reasons, he is not ready because his experience with world politics I would rather have him as a vice president and later in 2016 have him as president that way he is known globally and will become thee best president.

No, he lacks experience and a platform. Actually none of the Dems have offered any solutions on topics that matter. This saddens me as I am a Democrat.

No. Obama believes that government can control just about every aspect of your life. When he says stuff like "We can end poverty in America" What he means is.. we can take your money and give it to the poor. (and people cheer, YAY YAY Pick me first Obama! Take my money! Oh Please!)
The best candidate is Ron Paul.. and if you have not heard his message of liberty its about time you found out.

Yes, but not just because of what you talked about. Because he is willing to work across party lines...he has worked with McCain on illegal immigration reform and Lugar on nuclear weapons proliferation. Our divided govt. needs to grow up and quit acting like children on both sides of the aisle, or we all suffer

Screw race. I would say Obama may be good for the country, but it sure as h*ll ain't because of what you said. If it was then we need to elect someone else.

I agree with the sentiment, but I believe he brings much more to the table than cultural sensitivity due to race...
