Raja Bell could show him a thing or two with his clothesline but not many can stop Allen Iverson from scoring due to his great handle and lightning speed. He can create space for a jumpshot with a crossover or blow by his defender for a layup at will. But Manu Ginobli sort of contained him in Game 2 between Denver and San Antonio.

No one player can really STOP Iverson. The best strategy you can have is to try and make him work harder with different defenders- basically make him take as many shots as possible. You're much better off if he goes 10-for-30 and gets his pts. than 15-for-20 and he gets even more without the wasted posessions. It's also a mistake to double him too much because his passing is good enough to make you pay dearly.

Yes, shooting Allen Iverson with a bullet will stop him like anybody else.
Especially a large caliber bullet fired at close range to the head.
Just one shot... bang !
All that high NBA salary won't do him no good.

Nobody has ever really contained Iverson, the best you can hope for is to make the rest of the team beat you because Iverson is going to get his points.

Allen doesnt really allow himself to be stopped. Whether he makes or misses, he shoots and shoots, and shoots.

Prince, Bowen, Peterson frm Raptors and Battier can stop him, although they do lack speed, and lack greatly....but they all have a huge height advance. n they are not PG or SG..A.I. is known for using his speed, but ill say Baron Davis, because his probably the strongest PG. Jason kidd can keep up with him too.
